Architects faking it for museum
- A COMPETITION to design a museum which will never be built is exercising the minds of Manchester architects. The contest to come up with plans for the Manchester Letherium has become one of the greatest challenges to the world's architects. Some have spent days and nights sweating over their vision of the Letherium, which is the name given to the imaginary museum `proposed' for the junction of Princess Street and Whitworth Street.The winner will be announced on April Fools' Day - which is appropriate, as the Letherium will never be built. ...............................Read on!!
