- Bangladeshi architect Md Rafiq Azam has recently got the “Focus Countries Commendation Award-2003” of JK Cement Group, India for his project — Karim Residence — at Gulshan in the city. Rafiq Azam also won the same award in 1997 and 1999, said a press release.
